Northern Columbia Little League

 

Our Mission

The Northern Columbia Little League serves the children of northern Columbia County, New York who reside in the Ichabod Crane Central School District. NCLL offers baseball and softball programs for boys and girls. We seek, above all, to impart ideals of sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority to the children of the community. It is our hope that players will learn through their participation in Little League Baseball values that will make them strong and happy children who grow up to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens.

Board Meetings

NCLL holds its regular board meetings on the first Sunday of every month at the new Town of Kinderhook Community Center on State Farm Road at 7:00pm. All interested members of the community are invited to attend.


The next board meeting is scheduled for Sunday February 12 at 7:00

Important Notice for Parents and Players

Little League has once again updated their regulations for bats. If you are considering purchasing a bat for your child check the LL regulations first. Please see the Little League website for more information



2012 Season Registration Information


Here are some important links to information and dates regarding the upcoming 2012 season:

  2. BulletRegistration Form - Use this form to enroll your child for the 2012 season.

  3. BulletBaseball Age Chart for the 2012 Season - Age limitations at each baseball league level for the 2012 season.

  4. BulletVolunteer Application - Required to be completed by all NCLL volunteers. No exceptions can be made. If you do not complete this form you can not take part in the program as an adult volunteer.



Registrations are being held on 1/25/12 from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at the Spruce Building.  Also, 2/11 and 2/12 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm at the ICC High School gym lobby.


Tryout/Evaluation Dates are as follows:

3/17/12 Major Baseball, Major Softball, and Minor Baseball;

3/24/12 Major Baseball, Major Softball and Minor Softball;

3/31/12 Intermediate Baseball and Intermediate Softball.

Ceremonial Opening Day is Saturday, 5/5/12
