It is also used to keep athletes safe by measuring skills. During evaluations, athletes should dress in athletic clothing with clean, dry sneakers. Please remember to bring water, a fielding glove and any other personal softball equipment. Helmets and bats can be provided.

Softball Evaluations will be held at Ichabod Crane Middle School on Saturday, March 22nd during the following times:

Late Fee: We strive for excellence when forming teams. Although we always welcome athletes at any point during our spring training or regular season play, adding athletes after evaluations and team formations makes it extremely difficult. Sometimes it means dismantling teams we have drafted and creating whole new teams with new coaches. Given this, we will be assessing a $20 late fee for the Intermediate, Minors and Majors divisions after March 24th.

Volunteer Coaching: No coach in our league is paid. We thank them for their tireless dedication. Our goal is to empower coaches with information and support. This includes emergency first aid training, a training platform from Big Al, coordinators at every level for information and mentorship, and the player agent. We encourage any and all parents to sign up today to be a volunteer which you will be prompted when registering your child. Team positions include Head Coach, Manager, Assistant Coach, and Dugout Parent. Please note that safety is our #1 priority. All our volunteers are background checked. No parent is allowed in the dugout with other children without this safeguard. Should you have questions about volunteering, please do not hesitate to ask!
